As a business developer you are responsible for attracting more leads, converting them into customers and managing relations with existing customers. You are in touch with monitoring experts, surveyors, engineers and asset owners and convince them on the value of TotaLite. You understand the challenging environment where our customers must operate and can relate to both the technicians and the project managers. You make them love our product and qualify them for further sales activities. You empower customer success by proactively advising them on the use of TotaLite and linking them with the technical people in our team for support.
Aside from this, you are also an important source of knowledge when it comes to customer and market insights. You do this with a super enthusiastic team in which you are challenged to constantly improve yourself and each other.
Your responsibilities
Lead generation through outbound sales activities, such as trade fairs, calling, e-mails and Linkedin
Manage a portfolio of existing customers, increase customer retention and up- and cross-sell.
Advise our customers on the use of TotaLite, train them and perform regular check-inns. , incl. interpreting the data and providing data insights to the customer
Research the market and customer needs
Explore new market segment and prospect for new leads
Support and provide input to marketing activities
Provide product input based on customer feedback
What you will bring
Work experience in the construction industry is required. Experience in the domain geotechnics or surveying is strongly valued.
3 to 8 years working experience of which 2+ years in a commercial role.
Strong analytical skills, customer-focus and a natural ability to connect & build relations.
BSc degree in relevant field (Engineering, Physics, Business or a similar)
Fluent in English (Dutch, German, French or Spanish is a plus).
